Monthly tuition secures you a weekly time slot in the studio schedule at a discounted rate. Tuition is due at the first lesson of the month to receive the discounted monthly rate. There is no refund for lessons missed or canceled by the student. Lessons canceled by the teacher will be rescheduled or credited.

            30 minute weekly lesson - $160 per month

            45 minute weekly lesson - $240 per month

            60 minute weekly lesson - $320 per month

Flex Schedule Tuition

Flex Schedule Tuition is for individually scheduled lessons. Flex Schedule Tuition does not secure you a weekly time slot in the studio schedule. Each lesson must be separately scheduled. Tuition is due at each lesson. There is no refund for lessons you miss or cancel less than one week in advance. Lessons missed by the teacher will be rescheduled or credited.

            30 minute lesson - $50

            45 minute lesson - $75

            60 minute lesson - $100

Late Payment

A fee of $25 per student will be added if tuition is not received within 14 days of the unpaid lesson. Students with an outstanding balance will be removed from the studio schedule until their balance is paid in full.

Lessons Canceled Due to Illness or Weather

If you are ill or contagious, please be considerate of other students.  Lessons are counterproductive when the student feels ill and cannot adequately focus on the material presented. The teacher will send an ill student home without refund, credit, or reschedule.

Ill students should contact the teacher before their lesson. Make up lesson times will be offered if they are available.    

In the event of extreme weather, a lesson may be canceled without charge if a National Weather Service warning is in effect at the time of the student’s lesson.

Holidays

Lessons are canceled for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Lesson Preparation and Practice

Students are expected to arrive at their lessons prepared.  Please bring you instrument and all lesson materials.  Students who are not adequately prepared or focused on their lesson may receive a shortened lesson at the teacher’s discretion.

Please arrive to your lesson on time.  Late arrivals will not be guaranteed extra time.  Students 15min or more late without notifying the teacher will be assumed to be absent and risk forfeiting their remaining lesson time.

Recitals and Group Lessons

All students are strongly encouraged to participate in studio recitals, group lessons, and other events.  This participation is a vital part of the student’s development.

By participating in studio recitals, group lessons, and other events, you give Paul Cheng the right to use any photos taken of you or your child at the event for promotional materials and studio correspondence.
